“Celebrating the diverse achievements of women in Dubai“
SHE Awards 2020 Season 1 Gala evening celebrating the diverse achievement of women in Dubai was held at Shangri – La Hotel, Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai on Saturday, 28th August, 2021.
The VIP guests comprised of her Excellency Sheikha Jawaher Bint Khalifa Al Khalifa and Ambassador Javed Malik and Dr. Bu Abdullah, Chairman of Bu Abdullah Group was the Chief Guest of the evening. The successful gala night was attended by 200 people including dignitaries, many VIPs, socialites and key business people from UAE.
The initiative recognized, acknowledged and celebrated the invincible potential of the women change makers on stage and around 40 women were awarded by leading business personalities. The Gala evening started with the red carpet at 7.30 PM, followed by SHE awards, dance performances, fashion shows and the memorable eve ended with dinner.
Dr. Bu Abdullah, Chairman of Bu Abdullah Group, Chief Guest of the event said, “Women empowerment is part of the Emirati culture and we have a strong role in encouraging women in all fields to grow more and the progress achieved by women in the UAE is part of the vision of its leadership, which believes that empowering people is empowering the nation. This journey continues, and everyone is responsible for raising talented future generations and educating them to pay back the nation.”
