The She Awards 2020 Season 1 will be held tomorrow (28th Aug 2021) at the Shangri-la Hotel in Sheikh Zayed Road, Dubai. This amazing evening will be all about celebrating the diverse achievement of women in Dubai. It will also enforce the message that “Behind every successful woman is a tribe of other successful women who have her back!” Thus recognizing, acknowledging, and celebrating the invincible potential of women changemakers. The evening will also include a Red Carpet, She Awards, Gala Dinner, Music, Fashion Walk, Performances, and a model contest, and will also be attended by dignitaries, VIPs, socialites, and partners.
As She Awards is an opportunity open to all females who think they have been working firmly towards Women’s Empowerment and yet have not received any acknowledgment from any source. This aims to highlight their achievements, and strengthen their role as leaders and key change-makers to generate social impact. It is now more than ever that women in business, entertainment, and everything in between recognizing the importance of lifting each other up to thrive in success. Women today are CEOs, entrepreneurs, philanthropists, and much more.
In Addition to this the platform is also known to celebrate the commitment, courage, and confidence of exceptional women across dimensions and geographical boundaries. It aims at inspiring female achievers in present and onto the future. According to Dr. Bu Abdullah, Chairman of Bu Abdullah Group, and the Chief Guest of the event, “Women empowerment is part of Emirati culture and we have a strong role in encouraging women in all fields to grow more and the progress achieved by women in the UAE is part of the vision of its leadership, which believes that empowering people is empowering the nation. ”He further reinstated that this journey continues and everyone is responsible for raising the talented future generations and educating them to pay back the nation.
