- THE FIRST MONTH WILL BE THE HARDEST:
The transmission from a woman to a mother is not so easy. Life makes you taste this change quite vigorously in the first month after your baby’s birth. There would be so many things women will go through that she never thought of earlier.
- YOU WILL FEEL HUNGRY:
Labor and delivery take a lot out of you and so does motherhood, especially if you breastfeed. There is nothing to feel embarrassed about if you are feeling hungry rather you should maintain a proper diet of a lot of nutritious foods to balance out the amount of physical and emotional drainage happening.
- TIREDNESS ALL AROUND:
It will take months to regain the energy you had back in those days, it will feel like you didn’t sleep for ages even if you are getting enough sleep every day. It’s the breastfeeding that usually wears you down so much.
- MOTHERHOOD CAN NEVER BE MASTERED:
Just when you feel you have mastered a stage of development with your newborn, infant, toddler, or even teenager, they will move into a new stage. If you are feeling on top of your parenting game, enjoy it. Your kid will move into a new stage any day now.
- SOMETHING WILL ALWAYS GO WRONG:
No matter how much time you invest in your baby or how neatly you do your jobs, there will always be something wrong. The sooner you realize that the only people who matter now are in the family you have just created, the sooner you will enjoy your life as a mom
- THEY NEED TO WHEN THEY NEED YOU:
Whatever work you are doing or how much busy you are, your new one will need you all the time. But fortunately, we will be blessed with some caregivers like grandmas who will help us during this time.
- TIME WILL PASS RIDICULOUSLY FAST:
You might be knee-deep in diapers, bottles, and toddler tantrums, But file it in the back of your mind, because trust me, time will fly, and later you will miss these busy days.
- EVERY BABY IS UNIQUE:
Sometimes you expect your baby to be a certain way, and it turns out to be completely different. We need to remember that every baby is unique and has a different aura all over, they might not match your expectations at first but they will be beyond your expectations after a certain time.
- YOU WILL EXPERIENCE FRUSTRATION:
Trying to teach a little person how to be a little person is very frustrating at times. Kids are always testing boundaries as a way of figuring out the world. It can be just. plain. tiring. But, through frustration, we all learn and grow and become better parents along the way. You will impress yourself with how much you will grow.
- YOU WILL LEARN TO ENJOY THE SIMPLEST THINGS IN LIFE
Making a few silly sounds and hearing your baby laugh will become your ideal Saturday night. The happiness that ensues when you see your child happy when you see them learn and grow when you see them act jovial—all of these things are so simple, yet incredibly rewarding.
